Cô Tiên Mountain (Fairy Mountain)

A 45-minute climb the local kids swear by — the whole city and bay from above

Why go to Cô Tiên Mountain (Fairy Mountain)

  1. The best 360° view of city and bay, and it's free

  2. A short 45-minute route — fine for first-timers

  3. One of the few overnight camping spots this close to town

Go in a group and carry a torch for the sunrise shift; the dry-season grass cuts, so wear long trousers. Never light a fire in the hot months.

About Cô Tiên Mountain (Fairy Mountain)

The three-peaked ridge north of the city, shaped like a sleeping fairy, is the climb every young person in Nha Trang has done: a moderate dirt path, 30 to 45 minutes to the first summit, and from there the city, the bay and the long sweep of Phạm Văn Đồng open up beneath you.

Locals go in two shifts — the sunrise shift, leaving at 4:30 to catch the sun off the water, and the evening shift, up for the city lights. Some camp overnight on the ridge, which makes it one of the best places near town for stars and first light, and it costs nothing.

The dish to try · Since 1977

Come to Nha Trang without eating gỏi cá mai and the trip is not complete

One family, one recipe, nearly 50 years. Fish landed that morning, rolled in rice paper and dipped in a secret fish sauce — the same taste since 1977.
