Why go to Trầm Hương Tower & 2/4 Square

  1. The city's architectural symbol, right at the water

  2. Lit up at night, it is where locals come out to stroll

  3. Free, no planning needed — any evening will do

Come after 7pm, when the tower is lit and the square has properly filled up; at weekends there are sometimes free open-air performances.

About Trầm Hương Tower & 2/4 Square

Trầm Hương Tower stands at the water's edge in the middle of 2/4 Square, a building shaped like flower petals abstracted from a bud of agarwood, "the gold of the Khánh Hoà forests". By day it is the landmark you navigate the centre by; at night it lights up and changes colour, and the whole square becomes Nha Trang's open-air stage.

Evenings on the square are beach-town life at its best: families out for the air, dance groups, shuttlecock kicking, food carts along the pavement. A few steps takes you into the seafront park — a natural dessert course after dinner, before heading back to the hotel.

A plate of gỏi cá mai
The dish to try · Since 1977

Come to Nha Trang without eating gỏi cá mai and the trip is not complete

One family, one recipe, nearly 50 years. Fish landed that morning, rolled in rice paper and dipped in a secret fish sauce — the same taste since 1977.
