After dark the seafront in central Nha Trang turns into a walking street and night market: rows of stalls under amber bulbs selling souvenirs, dried seafood and beach clothes, with food carts threaded between them — grilled skewers, coconut ice cream, grilled rice paper, fruit shakes. It is busy, but in the unhurried way of a beach town; a few steps and you can hear the surf again.
This is the perfect dessert course after dinner: one loop for a few gifts, a snack or two, then out to the seafront park for the breeze. If you are staying in the centre you can drop in on almost any evening without planning for it.
