Why go to Vĩnh Trường Mural Fishing Village

  1. The longest mural in Nha Trang — 330 m of sea life

  2. A real fishing village still living right behind the paint

  3. An early-morning fish market with nothing staged about it

Come between 5:30 and 7 am for the market in full swing and low light along the wall; ask before photographing anyone close up.

About Vĩnh Trường Mural Fishing Village

Wrapped around the fishing village of Vĩnh Trường is a 330-metre mural — the longest in Nha Trang — painted on the theme "Fishermen and the Sea": basket boats, hauled nets, the fish market, the sun-darkened faces of the villagers themselves. It was not painted as a backdrop for photos; it retells the life going on right behind the wall.

Walk the wall early and you meet that life head-on at the village fish market: boats coming in, fish still jumping, prices shouted across the landing — the mural and the real thing reflecting each other. It is free, few tourists know it, and Trường Sơn craft village is in the same ward.

Come to Nha Trang without eating gỏi cá mai and the trip is not complete

One family, one recipe, nearly 50 years. Fish landed that morning, rolled in rice paper and dipped in a secret fish sauce — the same taste since 1977.
